Following on.
Again always wondered how long they last. How long is a bit of string yes I know. However if you added cruising area say Med. or Northern Europe and the manufacturer and whether you have in mast or lazy jacks. How much time (Days) each year you spend sailing.
Our main and genoa are now 8 years old, genoa is due for renewal next year main will go two to three more years we hope. Cruising chute 8 years and will go another 8 furling genakker 8 years and will go another 4 maybe. (It gets much more use than the genakker. Jib, cutter and storm sails rarely see the light of day, so should last with the boat.
We spend 4 months of the year on the boat and have cruised from UK to Turkey over the past eleven years.
