How much to fill you boat?

I paid £1.65/L at the 60/40 split recently and though that was painful.
So I only put 100L in which didn't move the fuel gauges much.
I have a long weekend trip planned in mid May which will need another 100L.

Determined not to let the price of fuel spoil the boating .

Thankfully a couple of bottles of whisky bought this week for boat emergency rations, and now safely on board, were at normal pre pandemic prices .

As for the present price of diesel its £106 before duty and VAT at the moment compared to 53p a year ago . So that adds about 60p /Litre to last years price at the 60/40 split.
Of course the marina may have bought their diesel at an earlier date when the price was higher.

That is outrageous , what happened to fuel at cost for berth holders.
What is fuel at cost for MDL berthers? Who knows ? MDL make it up as they go along.
I've filled at Port Hamble and Cowes this month, port Hamble at cost 60/40 and Cowes at 60/40?
Have a guess who was cheapest!!

Fuel at Cowes was £1.21 60/40 in January. The price at petrol stations for white diesel was £1.54, it has now gone up to £1.74, and increase of 20p. So why are Cowes now charging £1.66, and not £1.41

Have you asked them?

Here in Mallorca pump price is currently €1.985 but the lovely Spanish are currently subsidising the fuel by 20c a litre so €1.785 aand the money on my Revolut card was changed at €1.21 / pound so for once it looks like fuel is cheaper here. ?
