How much pressure from the water on the hull?

It initially seems a simple equation of surface area vs weight ... but the pressure exerted also changes with depth ...

But I would assume that given the hull draft rather than hull + keel - that the change is not great enough to make a simple calc too far out.
For a start one would probably not get surface area accurate enough anyway.
Then boat weight - we tend not to realise how much junk there is on board.
I do, because i have to empty the boat after my daughter has finished a couple of days holiday with me :(

Technically my boat should weigh about 3.8 tons ... but when she was lifted in HYCO for the trip to Baltic ... the crane showed 4.2 tons .... must have been all that gear I put in her ..... Xmas Turkeys ... Pork and Beef Sausages .... Pork Pies ... Pasties .... all the stuff the Baltics have yet to evolve to !!

Scalextrics ... OO railway gear ... the gear that went in her was !!!!!
