I need to move my eventide 24 by road. The registered tonnage is 3.28 tons. Is this the weight of the boat or is it something else? Any ideas gratefully received.

Registered tonnage has NO connection with displacement/weight. It is a formula to do with usable space inside the boat. I can't remember it.
See if YM or PBO have done a review which probably quotes this but beware that gear on board above the tested displacement will add more weight.
