How long did your through hulls stay bronze in colour?

I replaced all of my through hulls last week with Groco ones
Boat back in the water now and no leaks thankfully. However where salt water has splashed on them inside they have turned green already.
I am surprised how quickly this has happened. I haven't bonded them electrically as I think that they are isolated, the stainless bolts that they are fastened with do not penetrate the hull and are glassed in.
The ones I removed, which had been in the same boat, same marina for years were green but looked solid when I cut them out.
This slightly blurry picture shows one

There's a little trick if you want them to stay bronze. Simply, using a glove (disposable one preferably) apply with your fingers some grease all over the through hulls and the seacock and that's it.
