was thinking of new engines for my cruiser and noticed this advert

Bit worried about the low max revs though (102rpm). Do you experts out there think will will affect the top speed? I've done a quick power to weight ratio calculation for my boat though which shows it should reach about 270knots. Is this fast enough? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Do you think that if I specified these engines in my F43 that it might mean I couldn't have the tender on the stern due to weight distribution problems?? It a Zodiac 315 Jet Rib Paul

If you put one of those engines in the rib and repositioned the rib on the foredeck, then had the dinghy back that you have loaned to me to place on the bathing platform you should be OK for balance.

And I'm an engineer?
