How easy is it to screw up riveting?

Has anyone tried this type of riveter. I ask because the lazy tong type can be awkward to handle if you are up the mast, and the one handed type are far too small and weak.

I have one very similar on the boat, bought originally for Rivnuts but used many times for rivets. As has been said I think it would struggle with 6 mm Monel rivets and it did when I used it with 6 mm aluminium ones. At home I have a lazy tongs riveter, owned for many years. On balance I would prefer that but maybe not up a mast. For preference I would have the lazy tongs but work from a cherry-picker rather than in a harness.

First time up the mast (halfway) For me.

Read loads on here on various riveting methods, I've got a standard type so know their limitations.

So splashed out on this. It's an attachment to fit a cordless drill.

You do need both hands but it works like a dream, money well spent.

It obviously works by using a screw action to pull up the rivet jaws, which begs the question of why nobody seems to make one with a manual wind up screw action, which should be pretty easy, even with big rivets. There is a screw up device sold to set nutserts.
