How Do You Store Your dinghy Away From Mice?

The plastic would have to be very tough fo them not to be able to chew through it. Mice or even rats have chewed a plastic bin which I use to run the outboard 
I may buy a metal feed bin or suspend it from rafters but then it's up with the bats and squirrels
I know the neighbours had rats from feeding the birds. We live next to a 'Common' so also get foxes, badgers and the occasional stray dog, oh and loads of cats, I'm just waiting for a horse to wander through the lounge
