We took the valves out, drained out as much water as possible and then we had to use a turkey baster to get the remaining water out, have fun!!!

The short answer is, don't let it happen. Otherwise, pump it up and orientate the dinghy so that the water will come out when the valves are opened. Plan B. Stab with knife to let the water out and make a repair. Plan C. Inflate and heat on fire with valves open and boil the water off.

Open the valves and let all the air out, then attach the pump on 'suck' and pump out any remaining air and water.

No idea how to get the water out of the pump !

When it happened to me I hung it up in the shed with the valves propped open or removed completely and at the lowest point. Then I left two dehumidifiers running for three days in there until the catch tanks weren't collecting anymore. It worked but the shed has to be airtight and not containing anything that might add to the humidity, like potted plants.
