As a potential live aboard,in the UK, I need to recieve post via the royal mail but have no fixed address,Ive no relatives who will accept mail for me, what is the most covenient way to solve this?
you can obtain mail addresses that will forward for a fee. Some specialise in liveaboard boats, though the service will vary, so go for personal recommendation if you can.
A PO Box at your local Post Office although some organisations want a residential address for post.
Most Marinas accept mail for boats - not much good if you are not marina based though.

I have the same problem, though the UK is probalbly the worst place.
In Europe i ask a capitanerie if i can collect post even if i dont have my boat there(becouse they wont give me a place)Otherwise i ask the tourist office or a larger Marie
Another alternative when your on the move is to have your post sent to someone that will open it and either copy it or scan it to email.
If you need parts or a parcel you can ask at a cafe, sometimes they want to see what arrived and check its been paid for.
Post Office no good as you have to empty the box very regularly. We use friends at the moment who forward it when we ask - we leave them with large envelopes and money. Some other friends use a local commerial secretarial service which is working well and much cheaper than a forwarding service such as Mail Box or ship2shore. However, that is from Oz and we have not yet explored it in UK.
Some address you can cite is very important even if it is only a friend. Only having a non-street adress as in Box xyz can be a major pain.
