How do you clean the head (restroom)?

Good day guys,
I found that not every head (restroom) in the boats has water drain on the floor,
especially for those without shower.

My question is: how do you clean the head (restroom) when it gets dirty?

I mean, I can just use wet towel or mop, however, if somebody throw up
on the floor then I prefer to hose them out with a lot of water.

Without a water drain (outlet), how do you clean up the head (restroom)with water?

I've never had anyone honk in mine but suppose a bucket of hot soapy water and a mop would do for the solid stuff and slosh water around everywhere .. but I've got a shower drain. Our normal cleaning procedure is a bottle of spray disinfectant and a roll of kitchen paper and maybe a chamois if everything's wet.

Thank you very much, Kingfisher,

You just mentioned about the point --- "shower drain".

The boats that I am looking at, such as Merry Fisher 795 and Quicksilver 755 do NOT have a shower
drain. That is why I feel something wrong or just not right.

Even the storage for LPG tank has a water drain, how come the head (restroom) doesn't have one?

The French dont wash so no point in having a drain

No, I am saying the head (restroom) does not have
a drain on the floor no matter it is equipped with shower or not.

Without a drain on the floor, how can I clean the head (restroom) with
water hose? Especially when somebody throw up in it.

Do you wash your bathroom floor at home with a hose pipe?:confused: Why wouldn't the prospective barfer not do it over the side or indeed in the toilet bowl as opposed to the floor? Do you have previous experience with this?

I think this is the most odd thread yet for this forum. What next....... What do you do if you run out of bog roll

I am not sure about other countries, but in Taiwan, every bathroom has at least one drain on the floor and we use long-handle brush
and water hose to clean the bathroom. (I live in Taiwan.)

I have not yet buy a boat but am doing some research about which one. When reviewing the restroom area on the boats, I realized this
very odd phenomenon. So the question comes up to me.....

"Barf" is just an example in my question, there must be something else.

So, indeed, yes, we use water hose to clean the bathroom at home.

OK, now I understand why this is an odd question to you.

I just google with "bathroom UK" as key words and found that your bathrooms don't have water drain on the floor except the
shower areas, and all shower areas have something to block the water.

No wonder some of you think my question is odd.

In Taiwan, we have a drain located in shower area and also another one at the other corner of the bathroom.

Well, let's back to the boat.

Not sure about the American boat, but if I buy a European boat, I probably will need to make a drain on the floor and connect
it to the galley sink drain by myself.
