How do these Rotate ?

Continuing the spruce up in the tent of our new to us Fletcher 19 bow rider the front seats should rotate. Looking at the pic below (seats obviously removed leaving the mount) you would think that you would pull the black handle up and rotate away.

I suspect these seats have not been rotated in years but they are Alli and have not corroded. Try as I might I cant get them to rotate.

Anyone any ideas or knowledge of these mounts

Not sure they do rotate, I had similar seat fixings on one of my boats with those seats just moving back and forth but not swivelling.

also the gap to the wall looks small, and to me it looks like the seat would jam on the side wall ?

The back and forth is via a side handle (Not shown) But I think the centre handle in the pic is to do with rotation

I can't be positive that what you've got is exactly the bit of kit explained in the attached sheet, but it sure looks very close.

Thanks that is exactly the instructions. I now notice that mine has been locked with 2 bolts and there is no where near enough room to rotate the seats anyway
