How do I use Rydlyme engine descaler on a Nanni 200hp?

Do I (a) take out the heat exchanger tubes and soak them in Rydlyme?
or (b) recirculate dilute Rydlyme through the engine?

If (b) do I leave the sea water to cool the exhaust? This would mean recirculating water contaminated with exhaust products.
Any advice gratefully received.

I set up a circulating system where using hose connecters and a small pump I pumped the rydlime into the system and then recapture the outfall into a recirculation bucket - left this running for 3 hours
