Hmmmm... I was told she would be lifted at the begining of Feb.

Then I was told mid Feb...

The I was told she was on the list and it would be end of Feb...

Still no word..... and still in her berth.....

Is this the norm?

From what I remember it depends on space ashore which gets booked up and you will only get lifted when somebody else goes back in the water. Par for the course.

I've asked them to lift Marmalade but I'm in no hurry - they'll do it when a) the yard has time and b) when there's a spare cradle. If I'd needed it done at a particular time I could have shopped around but I was cool with waiting.

Did you ask for the work to be complete by a deadline?

It is very busy at present.

Ours was lifted back in on Friday there were two boats waiting down at the hoist for a space.

I normally wait until most boats go back in (easter) there is then plenty of space and have ours out for a couple of weekends max but needs needed it being out post New Year.

Last year they couldnt accomodate me at all, I had to go to foxes which was v expensive, this year they got me out a week late but the weather was attrocious so i was quite pleased.
They seem to have a shortage of suitable cradles rather than lack of space so it is on first come first served basis and you have to get in early (nov?) i booked it all in early dec and was told that there might be a problem, in the event they managed it.
