How do I get fouling off my RIB?

I pulled my RIB out of the water a few weeks ago and I am currently storing it on a trailer. I never quite got round to/was too lazy to clean the hull fouling off immediately when it was wet. Now it's dried on to the hull solid and I can't even shift it with a jet wash. There's no antifoul on the hull so I can't use antifoul stripper
Is there any product out there which I can apply to the hull to loosen the fouling such that I can jet wash it off or is this a scraper job?
 
When you find out let me know my fletcher is currently growing a very fine moustache on the Thames its got to the point now where I am actually scared of taking it out as I know its going to be a whole world of pain to get it off.

There used to be a jelly type substance found in chandlers called P2 or something that used to be good.
 
Get the botom of rib wet and use neat traffic film remover put on let it soak in put some more on 5/10 mins later then a bit more and rub with firm bush or one of those firm washing green pads, wash off with lots of water and it will come off do ours every year and looks like new [image]

Ah right, doh, I have now clicked the link and understand! Clever stuff, thanks. I'm struggling to see the pun (what pun?) but I'm probably having a dozy day :-)
 
If it is on the grp hull and is a sort of calcification, such as we get on the river, I use either kettle descaler or terrace (patio) cleaner. Basically acid so don't leave on too long.
Experiment in a small area 1st and then go for it!!
