How confident are you when anchoring?

Don't mention the Spade. I mentioned it once but I think I got away with it.

Lots of good advice from Simon. I'm only a wee raggie (small but perfectly formed) and I hadn't fully appreciated the windage problems you big stinkies have (are you allowed to say that on a public forum) but the principles are the same.

Get a bigger and better anchor than the manufacturer supplies, use lots of scope and make sure it's set. A GPS alarm (and sometimes a depth alarm too) is a good help in overcoming initial fears but practice makes perfect and a few broken nights sleep at first are soon repaid with increased confidence.
