I was doing a job yesterday and got some black Sixa and my hands but didn't have any white spirit to clean up. It dried off but nothing seems to get the ingrained stuff off my hands and nails. White spirit and meths have failed. Any ideas that don't involve a potato peeler? Got to get smart by the weekend.

I find that the Big Wipes that B&Q sell do a good job of cleaning silicone sealant off the paws so might well work with Sixaflex. May be worth a try.

I've never found a solvent that could be used on skin.
Best I can suggest is a sort of dermabrasion. Soak your hands until the skin is soft then scrape the top layer with a Scotchpad or similiar.
I have resorted to scraping with the edge of a knife blade, carefully.
A barrister friend wore cotton gloves in court and claimed he had a skin disease.

So you wouldnt recommend acetone prior to swarfeaga :o

You've not experienced dirty hands until you've had an expanding foam moment!

Those wipes in the tub are very good as mentioned above.

Pure acetone applied using kitchen roll. You'll have to keep adding to the roll as it'll evaporate in no time. Gentle rubbing should get it off with no skin damage.

Nothing will shift it chemically. The only way is "mechanical". ie, live with it. Or scrub it off (plus your skin) with a scotchbrite pad.

ps. that's why it works so well...
