how big is a gps?

Does anyone have a Garmin 12XL at hand? If so can you tell me what the overall dimensions are? Mine is down at the boat and I cannot go and measure up right now (300M away /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif)

If there's anything you need for your kit, why not download an electronic copy of the manual from the Garmin website? I've done this as an insurance against losing the original and I can always access manuals at home/work during the week!
Surprisingly many bits of obsolete kit can be found, too (like most things on my boat!).
