Well thanks everyone for the interesting comments - a bit of mixed bag. As I will be arriving and leaving by boat the road systems won't be a problem and anyway the weather will probably be foul which will keep everyone at home.
I have called the harbour master at Sparkes but he wasn't there but I left a message and he's supposed to call me back tomorrow. A HISC mooring is also a possibility and if I can be a committee boat as well I should get a free berth and a lift ashore and back when the bar shuts - maybe not. Whatever happens I am looking forward to what will be our first sail of 2007 and hopefully a fun week.

Cheers,

Dave

The event starts at the end of the Easter weekend on the Easter Monday but early April is usually a quiet time in my experience as most people are still trying to get their boats fixed up for the season, leaving plenty of space for the early birds. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
