Houdini? Forehatch repairs

The protective bars across our forehatch are coming loose, they're held in place by a thin plastic sleeve either end, and the plastic is degrading. Has anyone replaced these or come up with a DIY solution.
I'm not sure if these are genuine houdini hatches, as there's no brand name on the frame, but the name Windsor on the glass.

The other alternative would be to have someone 3D print some ends for you.

Or clean it all up & CT1 them in place, they would certainly stay put and with judicious use of masking tape I think you could make it look neat enough...
