Houdini deck hatch- loose handles

Hi,

I bought a Houdini Super 50 deck hatch last year as a “like for like” replacement for the leaking one on my Hunter.

This year, I notice the handles have become very loose. If they get any more loose, they won’t be able to exert clamping force on the frame.

Anybody have any experience of taking them apart or adjusting them?

I’m in touch with Houdini but I think it’s always worth checking experiences here.

Hi Dave,

Because it was the glazing seal, not the frame seal, that had failed.

Houdini? Does that mean you need a magic trick if you want to use it as escape hatch?

Possibly, if the effing handles fall off.

Handles loose on hatch or just not clamping fully?
It's easy to tighten the screws holding the handles on, you do need to pick out the cover over 2 of then each side though.
