Please can someone post up some pictures of boats on the water to keep me sane.

You appear to have been steering a nice, straight course. And a suitably green mechanical lump... What autopilot do you have on that fine craft?

She's 20 years old, so no autopilot.
Navigation is all by "line of sight".

She's called "Moweena".

OK, not the type of boating that you're more used to, but I sold my little fishing boat this morning. This is the delivery trip

Nice job David. I was dangling in the bowels of Rafiki's engine room, failing to fit the new alternator. Frustration all round

I'm guessing it was more than "pleasantly warm" in the engine bay ... not the best day to be doing boat maintenance :nonchalance:

Is your boat not just over the tree line?

Record 10 mins of mower sounds on a loop, vault the Feb e and go boating.

We won't tell

Unfortunately this would have resulted in my daughter failing to be collected from dance practice, getting kidnapped and sold as a slave. Mrs FP would have been so shocked at my poor parenting skills that she would have gone to next door's housewarming on her own and met someone else, resulting in me running an SC17.5

Don't worry it was a horrid day on the water today I would much rather have mowed the lawn (not). Went down to the marina with bow cushions (why do they call them solarium cushions? ) with the express orders from swmbo ringing in my ears "you paid enough for them so fit the blooming things" or words (more colorful) to that effect. Anyhow sat on the bow it was so hot I was sweating just thinking about fitting them. Managed to do my chores then went home for a BBQ and a cool beer

So the plan is to go out tomorrow and test the new sun bathing area, if I were you lot I would stay at home as you know what the weather will now do :(

No Pictures bit we had great run down the Solent to Yarmouth 40 knots all the way and managed to find a finger berth for lunch stop at The George .

Not a bad day all in all:

Inspired by flowerpower I also cut the grass - Lord, it was warm work - especially as I collected it today rather than mulching it. But nice to be out in the fresh air on a gorgeous day.

Swmbo won on an ante-post selection at 25:1 in the Irish Oaks, so she was quite pleased. This year she's been celebrating when her ante-post choices actually turn up at the starting line, so an actual winner at the Curragh made up for a pretty bad run since the opening race at Royal Ascot...

Was out yesterday and despite the low clouds and grey, it was one of the most fun days out I've had this year , a trip to the Hamble and a blast up and down Southampton water with the sea lovely and flat calm made it one of those days where you remember why you bought a boat.

Please can someone post up some pictures
