Can anyone recommend a couple of hotels in Nice? Doesn't have to be the Ritz but reasonable as I'll have kids and wife in tow. Also a contact for daily boat charter 34 ft plus Targa or similar in that area, Antibes, St trop.
Thanks

Ist bit of advice is don't stay in Nice itself.

What are you there for?

When ?

How long?

How much you wanna spend ( ish)

Winner Boats in La Napoule are good, also other names if you chose to stay in Nice/..

Learner is a better source of info about anything to do with not actuallly quite going on a boat like staying in an hotel, near some boats though.

Sreiosuly, he's right - Nice has a blimmin great 6 lane highway down the seafront and manky to styay in. No Ritz there - that in Paris or London innit .

Cannes is a much better option, better shopping, and the beach is sand: Nice is pebbles. There are Mercures and other such chains in Cannes, obviously cheaper just back from the front, and less car fumes too. No, i don't have hotel details. But the right plkace to have lunch is the second-from-westenr-most restaurant on the beach, Royal Plage i think, in fron of the gray d'albion building and it has blue+white stripy everything. all the locals go there. The kids can go to Macdonalds.
