hotel in cherbourg

anybody recommend family hotel in said town?

Hotel Chantereyne is in the Marina itself ; we stayed there during the recent Cherbourg do and it was fine. Room for 2 58 euros Breakfast 15 euros.

Not a family hotel, but a lot of forumites went to the 'Quality Hotel' there a few weekends ago, and can give opinions....just ask on the scuttlebutt forum

40 mins walk/taxi ride from marina. typical modern businessmans hotel.

Correction : the B&B cost at the Hôtel Chantereyne was 58 euros including breakfast for two.

PS I wouldn't recommend the Quality Hotel. While it was fine for a group dinner it was rather soulless and too far away from things.
