Hot Water Calorifier

Looking to replace my aging Atwood Water Heater
This works off my engine with a 1.5Kw Heating element when we have hook up
Options I have looked at are ISOtherm and SureCal
What do others use recomend is the best
Looking at a 22l capacity one, Engine is a Yanmar 3GM30 so runs at 85c

I replaced our single coil calorifier with a twin coil and immersion heater unit.

We could only heat the water with the Eber Hydronic, and engine waste heat was wasted heat.

We can now heat it with the Eber, engine or shore power with the immersion. We bought the calorifier from ASAP-Supplies model - 518141.

Got a Surecal via ebay and it's a neat and efficient unit. Excellent aftersales with my Q's.

engine yanmar 30 and has an 85c thermostat!

my 27hp yanmar 1989 is fresh water cooled and has 70c thermostat.

do you get any overheating problems?

Just got back from the Med installed my Surecal unit on the boat.
What a company to work with great service the best I have ever had
I would highly recomend them and the product is great too loads of
hot water for all to shower on board unlike the old boiler which used to run out after 3 showers.
