It was hot on Sunday

Sorry? That's not hot news? Oh!

well for other tales of cunning plans falling like skittles, dark rumours of child exploitation in deepest Essex, deeds of derring don't and the sad spectacle of watching everybody else having a great sailing afternoon sitting in a cockpit 20 feet from the water see Brigantias' log (link below)

Cor it was. We are also on the hard at the moment having a small fix and taking the opportunity for a good scrub up. sunday was FAR to hot for work, so we launched the dinghys and went rowing instead and had good few hours mucking about in the water. Makes me more determined to find a cheap little sailing dinghy to potter about - rowing against tide is hard work! in the afternoon Marc and Taran went for an hours walk up the river and poor suffered a bit of heat exhaustion. Was tempted by a swim, but were put off by the jelly fish!

Know what you mean about the heat exhaustion - I'm not at my best when it gets scorching and kept having to knock off and take a break in the shade

I'm annoyed now that I didn't scrape together the extra £50 for the tender with a centreboard slot and mast step that was available at the same time when we bought our dinghy. i'd have had to knock up a rudder, rig and sail for it but that would have been easy enough. Def something I want though, a sailing tender
