Do you know anybody who works in a shipyard in Singapore? If so they may well have access to a Dry Film Thickness Gauge for checking paint schemes. All paint technical reps will have one of their own.
I'm not sure what relative thickness of zinc will be from plating to HDG but plating probably about 10 microns-ish and galvanising more like 100 microns but maybe a lot more (someone here must know!).
Check will take a few seconds if you have a dft gauge.
