Morning gang,

Horns.......... My boat is lacking its horn, which you really don't want. The wiring and air compressor are in situ tucked away behind the scenes of the flybridge so it's decisions time.
Any suggestions?

I quite like the look of the FIAMM TA Dual Marine Horn but I've also been drawn to the FIAMM Truck Power TA180-150 Air horn set which though doesn't appear steered directly to the marine market does make a very decent hearty hoot..

I don't want to spend a fortune so I've passed by the likes of Kahlenberg, and the chandlery seems extra money for little return..

Answers to the usual address if you would be so kind..

cheers,

Nick

This?

Had Fiamm Vega Dual (non air) since 2013. Loved their sound, one of them now dead and delivery time is looong.
Purchased from toetershop.nl whos is nice and have sound samples, but can't deliver either.

Hence went for
SS double diaphragm horn 12 V - Osculati 2145204

to arrive soon, will 'see' how they sound.
Yeah that's the one. Not the most discreet of hooters.. haha

Do report back how you get on with the Osculati..

Hi Fire99,

My son, Toby, is Kahlenberg UK (and Europe). He's a great and personable guy (I'm bound to say that....) and if he can help, I'm sure he will. You really can't beat the sound of a Kahlenberg. Tel: 01635 35353.
Ahh thanks Piers.. I'll give Toby a shout and see what he can come up with...

I bought a pair of Kahlenberg's from Piers years ago, for my old F43 - I must say if my current horns fade, I will do so again, they were expensive but excellent! When you sounded them everyone looked around for a bigger boat :)
