I have a Horizon wind speed & direction instrument in need of repair. Unfortunately the supplier SL has gone out of business has anyone taken over their supply and servicing?

If you look at the WestMarine webpage, you could well find instruments under the Horizon range. Some of these are rebadged New Zealand Navman range instruments, and others have the designation of Standard Horizon.
You could contact WestMarine and ask their advice. I did a while back concerning a dGPS unit, and they put me onto the Canadian makers of the item. I then contacted the Canadian company and got good assistance - including uptodate software download.
I have Navman instruments, so can see that those in the WestMarine catalogue are infact rebadged Kiwi instruments - and good at that. Plastimo are the UK distributors of Navman instruments.
BTW, what model of Horizon is it? The WestMarine catalogue shows one Standard Horizon wind/speed instrument.
So first off, have a look at WestMarine website, and maybe then contact them.
