Honda generators

You could run two in parallel though

[/ QUOTE ] Oh! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif They are AC generators (presumably) so how would you synchronise them?

they are solid state controlled and have built in synch connections - clever Mr Honda.

(a lot less "clenching than synching old world 3-phase 27KVA gensets without making them jump off their mounts - part of my very early sparks experience).

clever Mr Honda.

[/ QUOTE ] Obviously a requirement they thought of.

Never seen it done on anything as small as 27KVA only on 45 MW generators in my younger days. I guess they have an automatic system on the big modern stuff but Ive not been around when they have put one of those on load either.

The Eu10i is rated at 1kw, so not big enough, nor, as far as Im aware, can you link them.

The Eu20i model is a nominal 2kw, but cuts out if you apply 2kw continuously, but CAN be linked to another one.

You'll require a 3kw genny in real terms, or a smaller heatgun /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Why buy Honda in the first place? There are many other small "silent" gennys available much cheaper then the over rated, over priced Hondas

Feel free to make a suggestion, I was thinking of a honda due to their excellent reputation.
