Honda 5HP 4 stroke BF5 info.

Can anyone please advise what adjustment each of the screws #1 and #2 shown on the attached photo of the carburettor on a BF5 do and how to apply (obviously with a nice screwdriver but how to refine the result) ?
You would think this info. ought to be in the manual but it's not and there's no sign of a relevant image on the web.

My guess is that #1 is not an adjustment.

I'd guess #2 to be the slow running mixture adjustment needle
If it is while keeping the revs as low as possible, screw it in until the engine falters then out again little by little until it just runs smoothly.

The descriptions in the parts manual are not helpful!

I will give it a go later today.And I've had an epiphany on how it all works (in general terms) which must be good .....so they call it a pilot jet because its always working at low level and the main jet comes in on the throttle - clever.
