Honda 15 HP Outboard-what is missing??

I recently had a part stolen from my Honda 15 HP outboard engine. I need to know what part is missing so I can replace it, but don't want to spend loads on a mechanic so am trying to do it myself. I've located the missing part, but the only problem is I don't know what the name of the missing part is! It's a box like thing visible when the engine cover is taken off. I have added pictures of the engine please let me know if you can tell me what the part is called.
