home base harbour for diving on scottish west coast

Off to a good start then, think I need to take up diving to get to some of that lovely food you're enjoying.. Hope you enjoy your stay Bart

thanks bo, yes we did,
very adventurous stay as you could predict.

the day before departure at home,
I had installed a pair of wipers on the windows of the boat.
first two day's was perfect weather, and perfectly flat sea, (no spray)
third day was F7-F8, so no cruising nor diving, just visiting the Oban whiskey destilery and the pub,
so it took untill the 4th day before that I could test the wipers :D

further then that, we have dived almost all famous wreck's in the area,
have seen ao seals, dolfins, and Baskin SHARKS yes really !,
have seen some really nice Scottish scenery, including the special weather and clouds and castles in the mist, ....
and we eat scallops and fresh fish almost every day, but unfortunately no lobster this week.

the usual trouble with a petrol engine driven scuba airtank compressor,
all screws have been realeased at least ones, even had to readjust the Valves..... but luckyly no dives cancelled due to that.

Am now in a hotel in sunny Amsterdam, some apointments at IBC exhibition tomorrow baah,
I rather prefer a rainy day in Schotland on the boat :)
will hopefully find some time for a full picture report in winter time :o
