Couple of snaps from our two week break. Cut very short due to the weather we ended up diving into Dover and waiting there for 3 days as South Foreland gets a bit choppy in a F8. Then, had to run back early before the winds closed in again.
Still, a good trip. Rochester to Nieuwpoort, then on to Roompots. A couple of days in the lakes, then Middleburg and back to Nieuwpoort before heading home.

Nice pics. Did you have any problems with the authorities re red diesel?

We didn't see any authorities, they didn't seem interested in the slightest! We had all the fuel receipts neatly filed on board but, just like last Year, they weren't needed.

Excellent pix and 10 out of 10 for persistance.
We were in company of "Cayman"and left a little later.
Nearly cancelled trip off Sheerness when thunderstorm came through reducing surface visiblity to 100m or so.Fortunately fast moving and gone in 20 mins.
Trip up the Thames estuary was lumpy enough right into London.

Did wonder how you were getting on right out there !
Heard later was not possible for you all to divert into Ramsgate with Dover the only bolthole. !

Did hear it was fairly lumpy on the Thames. It was a stupid decision for us to go on Saturday, but I have learned from it!
Still, always fancied a trip into Dover!

Nice pics Murv, glad you had a safe trip, next year go the two weeks before school holidays....

Coming up to the dreaded North Foreland, it was pretty rough for us as well......:)

By the time we got round the corner Cheryl was having to hang on.....

Brutal

This was way before North Foreland before it got choppy...

And, sadly, we're limited to school holidays as my wife works in a school!

You're not the only one that had it tough Murv, this is what we had to endure out by the Rampian wind farm....
