Anyone got any plans?

Weather isnt looking too promising. We were thinking of Watchet then maybe a night at Burnham but now were going to wait and see. Dont care even if we dont leave the Barrage.

Anyone sees us theres usually a spare beer in the bilge locker /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

The spare beer might be ok....think we are there on Sunday (YC) but weather looks rubbish so work on house generally.

Fingers crossed it may improve a bit by the weekend.No fun 4 people crammed in a small boat if its going to pi$$ down and blow a gale .

Seems like we have had these North Easterlies for weeks now,fine for going west at a great rate of knots to get to Milford or wherever but pretty hopeless for cruising around the top end of the channel.

. May see you around the club at some point then.

I’m on call all weekend including the bank holiday so can’t even have that beer.

Never mind I’ll make up for it during the fantastic summer that is on it way to us.

I swam out to Banjo last night, but the security systems, alarms, rottweilers and automatic machine guns protecting the drinks cabinet repulsed me. At one point a hatch in the hull opened and a shark was released.

I think we'll be sticking around the bay on Saturday and after that not bothering, shame really as it's been lovely this week, flat calm out in the channel. Bloody typical !

Like sb99, I'm on call all weekend and the bank holiday too - and it's Bev's birthday. Alcohol free from 09:00 Saturday until 17:00 Tuesday. I'm dreading it. I'm covering for a mate on Saturday and Sunday, but at least when he returns the favour next weekend, I get five straight days off! (Wayhay!)

I'm on duty as well, but at least I may be able to get that last bit made in the workshop tonight /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif (Don't tell the boss /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif ). Then all that's left is a vast amount of tidying, cleaning and stowing and I can get sailing again, yaaay!
