120 euros a night low season is crazy money. We hired a 3 bed apartment with beach views in Nerja last winter for 1200 euro for a month!!

You can get cheaper than that in places like Rota. But that's nowhere near Gib either.

1980 I was fitting out a new to me boat in Glasson Dock and realised the family on a big motor yacht had rented it as a holiday home.
Last year I had to spend a couple of nights in Lisbon for a PET scan. The nearest AirBnb was a 34ft yacht in a marina about 15 minutes walk along the river bank from the clinic. Very nice people, they were on the boat to greet us when we arrived from the airport around 23.30.

Nothing new they've had similar on the Norfolk Broads since at least the early 1960s..
