My boat has a holding tank but no pump out facility. Are there any guidlines for how/where to fit and other than the deck fitting and pipe etc to tank do I need any other bits -ie is it universal fitting?
Advice much appreciated!

For the actual fittings suggest you look at www.leesan.com. If your tank is not fitted with pump out pipe internally you will have to fit one. Many tanks have the pick up pipe fitted and a blanking plug. If this is the case with yours you will only need the hose and the deck fitting.

Having done this recently I would suggest the following:

Pipe run as short as possible. Outlet can be anywhere suitable. As my holding tank is in the cockpit locker, I fitted mine high up on the transom rather than on the side deck. It allows me to reach the fitting from the pontoon and no chance of any nasties getting on the deck or worse still into the cockpit.

And yes - the deck outlet fitting is universal but others have already pointed you to the appropriate websites.
