When I finally fit a holding tank, I want the best pump out pump money can buy, I dont want to be unblocking, changing or doing anything to it!! The waste going into the tank will be macerated anyway, by the leccy heads. What pump do we reccommend? 24 volt preferably although mains is availabe from inverter. Bronze gears maybe??
Give me some ideas please.

I have jabsco macerating pumps which are readily available in 24V. You could no doubt spend a load more on something more upmarket but my guess (which may be wrong) is that even the best/priciest pumps will not chew up the sanitary paraphernalia that females are wont to stuff down the loo unless clearly directed and reminded and reminded again not to.

The only time(s) I've had trouble is because of that sort of stuff.

Been using a Vetus pump for 10 years & it's been totally reliable, never had to touch it. No macerator but not needed as the toilet pumps do that for me.

Just need to change all the hoses every few years & replace the filter insert annually.
