Hob mounted oven

I suspect that the life of the "treated" steel base might not be long on a boat.

Also the Origo is not noted for it's high heat output. Might be OK on cake but I would be surprised if you got good results with bread.

I would also wonder if the fumes might taint the food as they pass over the top.
 
Had one of those 35 years ago! They called them something else back then. Only ever used one on gas but if you tried something which required a long slow cook, I can't see why a spirit stove wouldn't work. Can't see fumes being an issue.
