From our visit a couple of months ago. Excellent day out and very interesting stuff, only thing I would say about it is that the restoration in some areas is just a bit too perfect, kind of a bit 'Disney' , so much of it is new and very little left of the orginal . I was hoping to see the real deal even if some of it was a bit ropey, but to see and touch the exact same bits from her glory days would have been excellent.

Good job she didn't point to the spot where he died as that is now reckoned to be 25 feet away from the supposed location.

In the days when acting as a guide was a matelot's duty it was normal for the guide to remark alojng the lines of "I'm not surprised, I trip over it all the time".

Is it in a dry dock?

If it is they could say it has a liquidity problem and then the Treasury will nationalise it.
