The BBC as you probably know are doing a week on the Thames http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/london/hi/tv_and_radio/newsid_8895000/8895217.stm

HMS Robin is looking for a mooring and the BBC are asking for suggestions . They seem to be talking about docking points for ferries and the like but what about a mooring point for pleasure boats . There doesnt seem to be anything for us up there without having to be locked into a marina . I for one would love somewhere to tie up on the tidal and spend the night without having to get locked in and out and it can be done because ive done it :D

So which is it? The SS Robin a Coaster or HMS Robin a river gunboat?
The BBC web page is quite clear .....
We want your help to find a home for the SS Robin. This old cargo steamer was built in east London in 1890. It has been called a true workhorse of the Thames.
It has avoided the scrap yard and is currently being restored at a port in Suffolk. The big plan is to bring it back to London transformed into a modern, interactive museum telling the story of working life on the Thames in the capital.

Its Cuchillo thats causing the confusion - God knows where he got HMS Robin from :D

They where on board the starship Belfast while talking about the HMS Robin . Its you lots whats confused . I know excactly what im talking about :D
