You know that 'Internet of Things' that's going the rounds? Maybe HM Quartermaster's Second Skivvy realised they needed some more milk for the Commander's cocoa, and had a word with 'Alexa'. Perhaps, in the convoluted way of such things, the impressive AI core deep in the bowels of HMSQE decided that the simplest way to resolve that tickbox on the 'To Do' list was simply to go there, and changed the Passage Plan.....
