Historical wind data for Genova, IT

One for the weather boffins:

We have a sailing competition in Genova (IT) in July 2006. Does anybody know where I can find some historical wind data for the area for the month of July? Also, I would like to get my hands on the daily wind fluctuation averages.

Of course, all local info is most welcome.

I used to fly in there fairly regularly and the wind can be quite "challenging"...... It funnels down the valleys and can be 180 degrees different at the opposite ends of the runway. I'm afraid I can't give you the specific information you are looking for but don't only search marine sources, I am sure the aviation authorities will have extensive records.
