Hippo oil filter

does any have experience of, or views on, these filters please ?

I have about 200l of mixed red and white diesel whichhas been sittin gin cans for a couple of years, and it would be useful to filter the lot and tidy up the stack of plastic cans before using the (clean) fuel in a tractor or Mule.

eBay item:110489697848 Baldwin separator filters for around £40. I used one if these with a 12 v pump to clean up some diesel from a redundant emergency generator a few years ago.

i now have it installed on my portable fuel polishing system, and if it were me I would filter through from one drum to another then finally to the fuel tank. Replacement elements are about £6.

An retired trawler skipper here who bought a laid up yacht ran all the stored diesel through doubled up ladies tights.
Seemed to work out ok.
