This is what happens when you let a designer test their boats apparently. I don't know the Swedish for 'let's see how fast and hard she can turn' is, but flat out the results look something like this:
If you could hold her at that angle for a while it would be a great time to send someone over the side in a chair, to touch up the antifoul and change the anodes.
I am reminded of that car that allowed the passenger to change wheels while on the move.... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Well that's just torn my ego to bits, I ve been telling people for ages I am the doofers, now you've knackered my self image altogether /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Pathetic attempt...........
Seriously though that looks a nice hull, gotta be a well balanced boat to start those sort of antics without killing yourself, is it an aquador?.
That's an interesting observation. I have never seen any of the new gen power cats doing high speed turns etc. Never crossed my mind to ask how they fair.
FYI, the boat in the pics was doing close to 35knts at the start of the turn.
Awesome looking 'Westline' by the writing on the stern quarter. Got to say those Scandi deep V hulls hold well...I did that on the first day I got the Aquador 23HT, and it was very scary with the Hard Top on...it was like cornering on wheels and she just did not let go!
I hope you are btinging that model over as it would be great to have a bash in her to see how good she is compared to the Aquador!
Gimmeee a go...please! I might need a slightly bigger one soon /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Still trying to work out the sales strategy for flashy expensive Italian Fiats and quality well built solid scandi boats! I Think Jez should move over to Volvo or sell squeekers to match!
Nooo, these are Italian - much more shoddily put together than a Skoda /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif (the cars obiously, Italian boats are much better /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
Er, hopefully will be able to come out of the closet in a few weeks. Just waiting on the last few little details. Contracts and agreements are all signed, so not long now...
One thing you'll need is a decent website ... as in something totally unlike the one currently at http://www.westlineboats.se which looks like it was written by my Mum.
