A question for others, what's wrong with Pledge multi purpose cleaner for GRP inside the boat?

Ah, tfft. Some sanity. Me too. Standard bathroom and kitchen products here too. Nothing different on my boat to what's at home with the minor exception the head is not porcelain

No smearing, it's the best cleaner/polish I have come across, we use it for high gloss acrylic kitchen doors after installation as it's anti static. Takes seconds to apply and buff off with an ecloth (smells nice too)

Nothing.
Pledge is also good at polishing canopy windows after first removing dirt by washing with water and a detergent such as Stardrops.

+1 for vuplex. Great for canopy windows too. Just don't use it on any surfaces you are likely to walk on. Very slippery!
