Hi,
I'm looking for a high capacity (3700 US gallons per hour / 240 litres per minute), self-priming electric bilge pump without an integral strainer suitable for use with an external strum box. I cannot use a type with an integral strainer because I need to mount it behind the engine for space reasons and the low point in the bilge is quite a ways forward of that position.
The Rule 17A shown here http://www.safety-marine.co.uk/bilg....htm?utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=organic looks ideal but it is not self-priming and that page states
Any ideas where I can get a similar spec pump to the Rule 17A which is self-priming ? No integral strainers, remember...
Many thanks,
Boo2

. Unfortunately that would mean I have at least a foot of water in the bilge before it could operate so no good for me.Non-Selfpriming, requires flooded inlet line
