I have recently purchased my first boat which I believe is a “Shetland “.
Would anybody know which series though TIA

Pretty sure its not a Mayland. They all have simulated clinked hulls.

I would guess an Ace, possibly a 16

Not all Maylands. The Microplus doesn't. Apart from the beam cabin windows I'd have said Microplus 501 Explorer

The micro plus isn’t a Mayland, and neither is the boat in the OP.

I stand corrected. I thought they were. My bad. I know it's not a Microplus, it's what it reminds me most of one

There were literally hundreds of little yards churning out small GRP boats like this in the 70’s. Unless it is one of the common ones, you may struggle to get the true answer.
