Just a quick post

We got to Gib at 15:00 BST yesterday.
A full refuel and then over to the marina in Gib to wait for SWMBO who was about to arrive by air.
Those that know Gib will know that the marina is right beside the runway so SWMBO had a great view of us as she landed.

Now that we are in the Med (proper) we have decided to slow the progress down - so today we were off to Duquessa to meet up with SunCoast.
Had a great lunch with him in glorious sunshine.

Then, this afternoon, it was off to Puerto Banus to see how the other half live (sorry oldboater) - the toys here are unbelievable.
Thanks to Princess Motor Yacht Sales we managed to get a great berth right next to another P67.

It seems that djefabs is simply gobsmacked.

Off now to see if we can catch up with oldboater - then off to dinner - may have to rob the fuel fund though /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

From here, we expect to be off tomorrow to Cartegna and then the final passage to Sant Carles on Monday

What progress.

Mike, Mary, JennyWren and crew

This should set a record for UK to Sant Carles which will stand for many years.

Amazing journey. Hope to see you there if you are still on board on Sunday 21st.

The ship from UK is due on 17th I think. Azimut Fuzion was asking for someone to see his boat in safely and maybe take a few pics, as he can't get there until 21st himself.

for some reason or another I keep seeming to find myself surrounded by Princess.. great to hear you are that far, and safe waters for the remaining stint.

Just had the pleasure of Mike, Mary, JennyWren and crew aboard Chelsea Sound tonight. They had a superb journey down here, few problems and on there way to St Carlos tomorrow. Sorry that there visit here in Puerto Banus was so short. Maybe we can do the journey 'up north' soon to meet up with them in their new home soon. BTW For you poor darlings in the UK it's still hot here. We love it here - pack up and come and live aboard here in Spain!

Wow JennyWren was still in Torquay a couple of weeks ago! My Targa 34 (Buster) left TQ on Friday and arrives Sant Carles (berth N333) by lorry next Tuesday, SWMBO and me hope to arrive Wednesday then to cruise over to Alcudia for a week or so (rain predicted and F3/4). See you all in the sun? I hope. Wonder if fuel berth open at SC yet?

As Mike says I had great pleasure in welcoming Mike & Mary on Jenny Wren and all her crew including of course a forum member I had not previously met djefabs, who got on famously with Phil on account of em both being Clapton fans (or was it Clacton)? ....something like that :~)

Had a look around Jenny Wren moored opposite my 560 Princess. First time for a while mines felt small :~) The P67 is a wonderfull boat most impressive. As was the computerised talking nav gear. After a nice lunch alfresco I said farewell as they departed for Banus.

Have a great journey onward Mike Mary and co and enjoy that wonderfull boat. Regards Clive

Hi Mike
Can you contact the marina and ask them to move the web cam to show your arrival and give us a rough estimate of your eta? Could be interesting to watch you arrive after your epic journey!
cheers
Simon
