HFL generator manual / diagrams

Ok, condensed version of looonng story. Two years ago it packed up whilst at henley festival. Her husband had a marine "engineer" take it from him to repair. He diagnosed failed alternator bearing leading to contact between rotor and stator. Parts were ordered from Italy (apparently...), the stator was rewound and the starter motor also rewound (not sure why - it worked when last used). Then the engineer gave it to his mate as he had run out of time due other commitments, who could then not reassemble it. Again, I don't know why, as it is a simple farryman powered asynchronous gennie.

Tragically, her husband passed away last week (ironically whilst at henley festival again). Being an ex aircraft engineer and reasonably handy with spanners, I offered to take it off her hands to rebuild it for her as she is a good friend.

Consequently, I have a car boot full of bits of metal and wires - the physical reattachment of parts is no problem, but I have a control box, loom and newly wound alternator with lots of wires sticking out but no indication of which wire is which winding - also none of the control panel loom left in the boat has any identification of which wire goes where.

All I needed was a wiring diagram so I can work out which wire goes where. Luckily, the owners manual she found has full diagrams, so it should be possible.

And that's the short version of the story!!
